US Sales Engineer

The ZutaCore Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in the Sales team. They work closely with the ZutaCore Sales and Business Development teams to identify and expand ZutaCore's Products and Services sales through ZutaCore Partners. This position is based in the United States and involves about 50% travel. The Sales Engineer works directly with ZutaCore Partners' Customer Sales Engineers, Lab/Testing teams, end-usercustomers at their locations. 

Responsibilities

• Sales Support: Serve as the go-to technical solutions expert for both the ZutaCore sales team and ZutaCore Partners teams. Provide valuable assistance in the qualification and assessment of new projects and opportunities. Deliver compelling presentations on ZutaCore products and solutions, addressing any technical inquiries with confidence and expertise.
• Training and Education: Collaborate closely with ZutaCore's Pre-sales and Support teams to provide comprehensive education on ZutaCore's Technology and Solutions. Assist in developing training materials and actively coordinate knowledge transfer processes, including online and in-person training sessions.
• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between ZutaCore's engineering team and customers, facilitating effective and precise communication of technical project needs and requirements.
• Define solution architectures:  Gain a deep understanding of the specific needs of our end-customers and play a pivotal role in defining the optimal cooling architecture and technical solutions. This includes creating detailed technical documentation such as architectural drawings, design schematics, mechanical calculations, and KPIs. Conduct energy modeling and TCO analysis studies, providing valuable insights and trade-off comparison reporting as required. Collaborate effectively with customers and project trades, including MEP, general and electrical contractors, and DC infrastructure providers, to establish clear technical requirements for seamless integration of ZutaCore solutions..
• Manage POCs: Collaborate with the Sales team to determine the optimal Proof of Concept (POC) based on the specific needs of each end customer, and effectively oversee the implementation of the POC with all relevant parties involved.
• Implementation monitoring: Ensure the smooth and efficient implementation and installation of our solutions by closely monitoring and providing expert technical and project management support throughout the entire coordination and installation process.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise and practical experience in the physical infrastructure and engineering of data centers, covering mechanical and electrical aspects, such as power distribution, precision cooling, IT rack layouts, and management software.
• Experience in directly interacting with customers, demonstrating outstanding focus on customer success and possessing exceptional skills in building strong customer relationships.
• Practical expertise and a deep understanding of the cooling requirements for data centers and equipment are essential. This includes knowledge of data center IT and server configurations, server cooling technologies, and the capacity support needed for cooling elements and data center power. Additionally, hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems in data centers is crucial.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the intricacies and functionality of server hardware components and operations.
• Capability to assess and analyze the effectiveness and constraints of cooling systems currently in use in customer data centers, taking into consideration factors such as power utilization, usage patterns, and energy efficiency (PUE).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
